At Day 88, the Big Sit nears its end. For those of you who haven’t been following us on Twitter, we’ve been posting meditation tips throughout the 90-day sitting period. Today, we’ve ventured beyond the Buddhist tradition, turning to Krishna’s advice to Prince Arjuna in the Sanskrit Hindu classic, the Bhagavad Gita, for inspiration:

To action alone hast thou a right and never at all to its fruits; let not the fruits of action be thy motive; neither let there be in thee any attachment to inaction.

For obvious reasons, the latter tips have been all about hanging in there.

So what’s next? Starting Tuesday, we’ll be hostng Dr. Jan Chozen Bays, who will guide us through two weeks of Mindful Eating. You can read her article in the current issue of Tricycle here.
