What are you doing Saturday night? Here’s an idea: don’t do anything. Be silent. Do this for one hour.

This Saturday night, June 18th, at 8:00pm in your local timezone, people from around the world will join together for “The Moment of Peace,” the brainchild of Dean Crabb. The goal is to get one million people to participate in mindful silence together. Crabb, like many of us, feels that the world is much too busy most of the time and believes that a moment of peace together could be a powerful symbol to help alleviate the world’s suffering. What will you do during that quiet hour on a Saturday night? Well, that’s up to you. You could meditate, pray, or just sit there. The important part is that you’re silent.
