During these times of stress and uncertainty, living from a place of calm, relaxed awareness can feel like an impossible task.
But it’s important to remember that this state of awareness isn’t something outside of ourselves to achieve—it’s already always here inside of us. A unique form of meditation known as “effortless mindfulness” can help us to recognize and cultivate this awareness from the inside out.
Join meditation teacher and psychotherapist Loch Kelly for a special 90-minute workshop exploring effortless mindfulness, an advanced yet simple way of making small shifts of awareness—or as he calls them, “mindful glimpses”—in the midst of your day. Taking these small glimpses will allow you to access a state of well-being, clarity and acceptance of life as it is.
In this 90-minute virtual workshop, you’ll learn simple and effective micro-meditations based in Buddhist wisdom, psychology, and neuroscience research. By learning these short glimpses of awakening, you’ll find that you are able to immediately drop from your chattering mind into your wise heart-mind.

Loch Kelly, M.Div., LCSW is an award-winning author, licensed psychotherapist and recognized leader in the field of meditation. He is the founder of the nonprofit Effortless Mindfulness Institute and has worked in community mental health, established homeless shelters and counseled family members of 9/11. Loch graduated from Columbia University and received a fellowship to study in Sri Lanka, India and Nepal. Loch has collaborated with neuroscientists at Yale, UPenn and NYU in the study of how awareness training can enhance compassion and wellbeing.
