IMPORTANT: Please read Tricycle Magazine’s Official Rules before entering the Tricycle Magazine Instagram Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”), presented by The Tricycle Foundation (“Sponsor”). By entering you will be bound by these Terms & Conditions and you acknowledge that you satisfy all eligibility requirements.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. All federal, state, and local regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted. Entries limited to one entry per person per household. The employees of the Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, and agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in their household are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
ENTRY PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 10:00 a.m. ET on Friday, August 19, 2022 and ends at 10:00 a.m. ET on Monday, August 22, 2022.
HOW TO ENTER & PRIZES: Instagram entries only. Enter by liking the giveaway Instagram post, following @tricyclemag, and tagging three friends in the Instagram post comments.
In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address used for entry. Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of automated devices will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected, late or incomplete entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server or other connections; failed hardware or software or technical failures; or garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including, without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online. Incomplete or illegible entries will be voided. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes at any time.
Three Winners will receive one year-long digital subscription to Tricycle Magazine (Retail Value: $59), which includes 4 new digital issues per year, access to 30-year archive, exclusive web-only content, 500+ dharma talk videos, monthly spiritual films, and 25% off online courses at learn.tricycle.org.
Winners may not transfer, assign, or redeem the prize for cash. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Each winner will be responsible for paying income taxes and any other expenses incurred.
WINNER SELECTION: Three Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or near Monday, August 22, 2022 from all eligible entries received by the entry deadline. Odds of winning depend on how many eligible entries have been received. Sponsor shall notify Winners via Instagram Direct Message (DM) and Winners must respond to DM within ten days of receipt to remain eligible for the prize. If Winner does not respond to Sponsor’s notification within ten days, Sponsor may select an alternate via random drawing of remaining non-winning entries received by the entry deadline. If notification of the Prize is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor may, at its discretion, select an alternate winner.
PRIVACY POLICY: All information submitted in connection with entry to this Sweepstakes shall be governed by Sponsor’s privacy policy (at https://tricycle.org/privacy-policy/). By entering this Sweepstakes, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this privacy policy.
DISCLAIMERS: This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administrated by, or associated with, Instagram. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel a Sweepstakes at any time. By competing in this Sweepstakes and/or accepting the prize, entrants agree that neither Sponsor nor Instagram will have any liability, and will be held harmless from and against liability, loss, injury or damage to property or person, including death, and reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in the Sweepstakes, even if caused or contributed to by the negligence of any of the Released Parties. By accepting a prize, each Winner consents to the use of their name for publicity and promotional purposes on behalf of Sponsor with no additional compensation or further permission (except where prohibited by law).
Any dispute arising from this Sweepstakes will be determined according to the laws of the State of New York, and by entering the entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County and agree that such courts have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.
If you choose to promote your entry via social media or other channels, you should disclose your connection to the Sweepstakes.
By entering a Sweepstakes, you will not be eligible to receive any prizes awarded in any other Sweepstakes unless you enter each Sweepstakes separately.
