New Year pictures, Dalai Lama’s Olympic woes

Images of the New Year here. The Dalai Lama cancels a visit to the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Idaho, apparently under pressure from a certain government, and is uninvited to the Winter Olympics for the same reason.
