In this retreat Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and Ani Pema Chödrön join forces to give us teachings on basic goodness and spiritual warriorship. Sakyong Mipham opens the retreat by speaking on basic goodness as the elemental nature of all human beings, and the power of self-reflection to cause a cultural shift. In the second week, Pema Chödrön addresses the question, “If we’re all basically good, why are we so confused?” During the third week, Pema tackles the subject of spiritual warriorship—how to use bravery and compassion to go beyond our confusion. The Sakyong then concludes the retreat by revealing how discovering basic goodness—personally and collectively—leads to an enlightened society. The discussion will be led by Acharya Adam Lobel. The retreat begins December 5th.
