When the CNN live feed failed us at 11:30, the Tricycle staff headed around the corner to the Emerald Pub. As Bono says, add an apostrophe and he’s Irish, too, so we thought it made sense. We packed in with just about everyone else in the neighborhood, whose mood I can only describe as jubilant.
