What would it be like to spend three years in the presence of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh?

Viewers of Walk with Me will get a taste of life at Plum Village, a remote monastic center in southwestern France that the famed Zen teacher and poet founded in 1982. The film is currently premiering in cities across the U.S.

Narrated by English actor Benedict Cumberbatch, the film is described as a meditative and cinematic look at Plum Village, which is home to more than 200 monks and nuns.  

Filming wrapped up before Thich Nhat Hanh suffered a stroke in 2014. He remains unable to speak and paralyzed on his right side, and the film in part preserves his verbal teachings.
