8:30 a.m. Every morning I walk through UC Berkeley’s campus to reach Dharma College. It’s a reminder that Dharma College is not just some separate “holy” space but is part of the larger community as well.

11:30 a.m. My office work is a bit of a balancing act—besides being executive director of Dharma College, I am also executive director of the Light of Buddhadharma Foundation International and president of the International Buddhist Association of America.

12:00 p.m. From 12:00 to 12:30 every Friday, Dharma College hosts a meditation class called “Promoting Inner Resilience,” and since it’s virtual we’re able to connect with people all over the world.

1:00 p.m. Before our daily staff lunch, we each take turns leading a brief pre-meal blessing, which is a lovely way for us all to share our personal expressions of gratitude!
