Venerable Master Hsuan Hua

Venerable Master Hsuan Hua (1918-1995) was a Chan Buddhist monk and a contributing figure in bringing Chinese Buddhism to the US in the 20th century. He is the founder of many Chan Buddhist institutions, including the Buddhist Text Translation Society.
