Wang Jiaxin is a Chinese poet, essayist, translator, and professor of Chinese literature. He is the author of over forty volumes of poetry, essays and translations. His collection of poems in English is Darkening Mirror (2017), translated by Diana Shi and George O’Connell, with a foreword by former US Poet Laureate Robert Hass. In recent years, following his retirement, he has primarily resided in New York. He has been invited to lecture, give readings, and serve as a poet-in-residence at numerous universities, poetry festivals, and literary institutions across the United States, Canada, and Europe. His work has appeared in more than a dozen American journals, including The American Poetry Review, American Poets, and The Kenyon Review. His second collection of poems in English, At the Same Time (Arrowsmith, 2025), was selected by World Literature Today as one of the 75 notable translations of 2025 and was longlisted for the 2026 PEN Award for Poetry in Translation.

Chinese poet and essayist Lan Lan, born 1967 in Yantai, the province of Shandong, began publishing at age 14. Her many poetry volumes, prose poems, essays, criticism, and collections for children have established her as one of contemporary China’s most prominent authors. Lan Lan’s foreign language collections include the bilingual Chinese / English Canyon in the Body, as well as those in Russian, Thai, and Spanish. Her awards include the Poetry and People International Poetry Prize, the Yuan Kejia Poetry Award, the Chinese Media Literature Prize, and the Su Shi Poetry Award. She has been named an honorary citizen of Chios and Oinousses, Homer’s Greek Birthplace.

Jami Proctor Xu is a mother, bilingual poet, essayist, translator, editor, and international poetry event curator who splits her time between New York, Arizona, and China. Her poems, essays, and translations have been published in anthologies and journals around the world. Jami’s awards include, among others, a Zhujiang Poetry Award, a Bo’Ao International Poetry Translation Award, and a Northern California Book Award for Poetry in Translation for her translation of Song Lin’s poems in Sunday Sparrows.

Jiaoyang Li is a poet and interdisciplinary artist based in New York City. Her work has been featured by T Magazine China, Art Forum China, Life Magazine, LA Review of Books, Eflux, Radii, and elsewhere. Jiaoyang is the co-founder of Accent Sisters, a new work-based independent bookstore, art space, and publishing house.
