We have received a lot of questions about what exactly is entailed in the new 28 Day Meditation Challenge that begins on February 1st. It is quite simple, the challenge is this: see if you can meditate every day for 28 days straight.

Participants are encouraged to follow the program laid out in Sharon Salzberg’s new book, Real Happiness, and to share their experiences online with one another.  For this challenge, the central hub of communication will be Sharon Salzberg’s website.

We have also been asked how one might prepare for the challenge. This is also simple, make whatever preparations are necessary to make an honest solid effort to meditate every day for 28 days. Also, aside from the wonderful clear instructions in Sharon’s new book, there is also a wealth of resources instantly available at www.tricycle.com/meditate from our previous meditation challenge, “Commit to Sit.”
