Ajaan Funn Acaro

Ajaan Funn Acaro (1899-1977) was a teacher and monastic in the Thai forest tradition and a student of Ajaan Mun. Known for his wisdom, kindness, and the power of his concentration, Ajaan Funn developed a nationwide following, setting up monasteries across Thailand, eventually becoming a personal teacher to His Majesty, the King of Thailand. He passed away quietly of a heart attack in January, 1977.
