Cem Sen

Cem Sen was born in 1968 in Izmir, TR. In 1987, Sen started to study and practice Buddhism and Daoism with Ilhan Gungoren, an author and researcher who was an early progenitor of Buddhist and Daoist philosophies in the region. Sen’s first translation work was published in 1990. Since then, Sen has published over forty translation pieces and is the author of more than ten books including Dolmuşa Binme ve Dolmuştan İnme Sanatı’nda Zen (Zen and the Art of Getting On and Off a Minibus), Thumos, and Book of Breath. Working as a publisher and editor between 1990 and 2012, Sen founded the companies “Dharma” in 1990 and “Klan” in 2003. Since 2009, Sen has taught the system he developed as an outcome of his twenty-five years of work on philosophy and spiritual teachings under the name “Courses on the Path of the Heart.”
