Jefre Cantu-Ledesma is a multi-instrumentalist and composer, Zen priest, and hospice chaplain based in the Hudson Valley. He co-founded the drone and ambient label Root Strata, which was active from 2005 to 2018. His most recent album, Gift Sounds, was released by Mexican Summer in March 2025.
