Peter N. Gregory

Peter N. Gregory (1945–2025) was the Jill Ker Conway Professor Emeritus of Religion and East Asian Studies at Smith College and President of the Kuroda Institute for the Study of Buddhism and Human Values. He wrote, edited, and coedited several books, including Tsung-mi and The Sinification of Buddhism, Buddhism in the Sung, and Women Practicing Buddhism: American Experiences, and produced the documentary Sweet Nectar: Feeding Hungry Spirits in an American Zen Community.
