Lama Karma Thinley Rinpoche , the Fourth Karma Thinleypa, is a master of the Kagyu and Sakya traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Widely regarded as a scholar, artist and poet, he is also author of The History of the Sixteen Karmapas of Tibet (1980), The Telescope of Wisdom (2004), The Lamp that Dispels Darkness (2018), and Dispelling the Darkness of Suffering (2023).
