Pema Chödrön
Pema Chödrön is an American Buddhist nun and best-selling author. She is a founding member and resident teacher at Gampo Abbey, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, the first Tibetan Buddhist monastery in North America established for Westerners. She was one of the first American women to be fully ordained as a bhiksuni and is one of the most beloved and influential spiritual teachers in the West.
