David Schneider

David Schneider , a former resident of the San Francisco Zen Center, is the author of Street Zen: The Life and Work of Issan Dorsey and Crowded by Beauty: The Life and Zen of Poet Philip Whalen. He was ordained as a Zen priest in 1977 and in 1995 was made an acharya in the Shambhala lineage.
