Yvonne Low

Yvonne Low is an art historian and lecturer in Asian art at the University of Sydney. Low researches on modern and contemporary Southeast Asian art, with an interest in Chinese diaspora culture and transnationalism, feminisms in contemporary art, women’s history, and digital methods. Previously, Low taught subjects on Asian art and architectural history in Singapore (Nanyang Technological University) and Sydney (UNSW, National Art School). Low has been published widely, credited with more than forty books, peer-reviewed journals, and exhibition catalogs, including a children’s book on Indonesian art.
