Ring in the New Year with Tricycle’s Buddhist Shorts Film Festival! This month, we’re featuring five short films from around the world that you won’t find anywhere else. Among the cinematic journeys in store, we’ll trail a group of Chinese Buddhist nuns on pilgrimage in the Canadian Rockies, watch people try out virtual reality for the first time, and reflect on the difficulty of living in the present moment with Little Vaysha, a young girl with a double-edged gift.

Check out our slate of must-see Buddhist shorts below.

If you’re not a Tricycle subscriber, become one today to gain access to this award-winning lineup of films running through February 3, 2019.

Join us on January 29 and 31, 2019 at the Here Now Space in the heart of the West Village in New York City, where we’ll be hosting a live screening of these five short films, followed by a Q&A with a few of the filmmakers. Beat the rush and book your tickets in advance.
