From birth, we are dying, so
we suck marrow from bones
but we are vegetarian
and one day we will understand our grandma.
From birth, we are crying, so
we lift our burdens to out back
but we cannot walk forever
and one day we will rest upon the earth.
From birth, we are yearning, so
we adorn ourselves with maps
but a map is just a memory
one day
we run wildly
into the arms of our mother.
