Alice Gordenker has lived and worked in Japan for close to 25 years. She studied Japanese art at Princeton University and advises museums and local cultural boards throughout Japan. She also reports for NHK World, the English-language service of Japan’s national broadcaster, and is certified as an expert consultant by the Japan Tourism Agency. Her articles appear in The Japan Times, Ceramic Review, and many online publications.
