Benjamin Schonthal

Benjamin Schonthal is Professor of Buddhist Studies and Affiliate Professor of Law at the University of Otago in New Zealand, where he also codirects the Otago Centre for Law and Society. He is the author of Courts, Constitutions and Karma: Buddhism, Law and the Practices of Legal Pluralism in Sri Lanka and Buddhism, Politics and the Limits of Law; and coeditor of Buddhism and Comparative Constitutional Law.
