Alan Senauke (1947-2024) was a Soto Zen priest, author, musician, civil rights activist, and abbot of Berkeley Zen Center. The founder of the Clear View Project (clearviewproject.org) and previous executive director of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship, he received dharma transmission from Sojun Mel Weitsman in 1998 at Tassajara Zen Mountain Center.
