Barbara Miller

Barbara Miller is an award-winning documentary director, currently serving as the president of the Swiss Directors Guild and Screenwriters Association. She makes films about humanitarian crises, women’s issues, and more. Since 2001, Miller has directed more than twenty documentaries for Swiss National Television. Her feature-length documentaries Forbidden Voices and #Female Pleasure were both global successes. As a child, Miller’s mother took her to see the Dalai Lama speak on one of his trips to Europe, and she has dreamed of creating a documentary with him ever since.
