Ira Helderman
Ira Helderman is an adjunct professor in the religious studies department at Vanderbilt University and a psychotherapist in private practice in Nashville. His research examines the intersection of psychotherapy and religion in the United States, with a particular focus on how psychotherapists engage Buddhist traditions. He is the author of Prescribing the Dharma and is at work on a book about adverse meditation effects.
