Meher McArthur is an Asian art historian specializing in Japanese art. She has curated exhibitions and organized programs for numerous institutions, including the Pacific Asia Museum, JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles, and International Arts & Artists. Her books include Reading Buddhist Art (2002), The Arts of Asia (2005), and Washi Transformed: New Expressions in Japanese Paper (2021). She lives in Pasadena, CA.
