Nalika Gajaweera Ph.D., is an anthropologist and research associate with the Center for Religion and Civic Culture at the University of Southern California. Her current book monograph, Mindfulness, American Buddhism, and the New American Heretics, is an ethnography of mindfulness and American Buddhism in Southern California.
