Whitney Wei is a writer, editor, and artist based in Berlin. Previously, Wei served as editor-in-chief at Resident Advisor and Electronic Beats, respectively. Her work has appeared on BBC Radio 1 and in the Guardian, Vogue, Highsnobiety, and Pitchfork, among other publications. Her project, “Modern Rituals,” reinterprets contemporary culture through ancient philosophy—informed by immersive Buddhist study at temples and monasteries across Germany and Taiwan.
