
David Schneider
David Schneider is a former resident of the San Francisco Zen Center and the author of Street Zen: The Life and Work of Issan Dorsey and Crowded by Beauty: The Life and Zen of Poet Philip Whalen. He was ordained as a Zen priest in 1977 and served as an acharya in the Shambhala lineage from 1996–2019.
